He said "finish the investigations, then we can do infrastructure. " And "I won't negotiate on infrastructure unless you ratify the new trade agreement with Mexico and Canada".

Trump is negotiating with Democrats, and not giving them a chance to hold the trade agreement hostage.

He said, " "You can go down the investigation track, or you can go down the investment track." Those are his words. It does not look like he wants the incestigations to be finished, in the sense that all evidence will be developed, evaluated and acted upon. It is an either/or demand and nothing less. Bad spin, dude.

I have seen painfully weak rationalizations for bad acting in the past. This is not the worst. But, it is far from the best. You sound like you might be creative person. Surely you can come up with a better excuse for him acting like a school child refusing to eat his green beans.

I think it is clear that you do not want the government to spend money. You can make that point without insults. I suggest that you do so. It's not a personal insult. It's an observations. What you want is a socialist means to help infrastructure regardless of it not being constitutional. It's not my fault that's a regressive approach. Maybe you should read what the founding fathers had to say about using federal funds for infrastructure.

And, for the record, I live in a state that pays more in Federal taxes than services received from the Feds. South Carolina, North Dakota, Florida, Louisiana and Alabama top the list of states that take in more money in services, grants and programatic spending than they pay in taxes. These are all Republican dominated states. Your anger in this regard might be aimed at the wrong political party.

I'm not aiming it at ANY political party. The issue about infrastructure is a disagreement I've had with the POTUS (who has been talking about spending trillions on it for some time. I like Trump, and I'll vote for him again, but on this subject I disagree. Democrats and Republicans alike want massive global centralized Govt. regardless of the constitution.

Mebbe you should stop confusing constitutional conservatives with Republicans.

Please read economics. I have never suggested that the "People control all means of production." As for your claim of an apolitical position, rather that tear others down, you could have made your latest argument at first and had more impact. Anybody with a keyboard these days is calling people names and ranting. Make a cogent argument against spending and you will stand apart.

Maybe you should try to understand that the Constitution has been legally amended many times and has survived all these years because of its basic structure and the fact that the Founders trusted the people to adapt it to fit changes in the needs of the country. Read the entire Constitution, with Amendments, and tell the Supreme Court where it is being violated.

Finally, stop using Republican buzz phrases and canned political language and people won't be confused.

From Kellyann Conway's comments this morning, it appears that he is already backing down. I wonder if the Deutsche Bank decision is changing his strategy? Steve Bannon predicted that Trump's business dealings would be what brought him down. I guess that makes Steve a "socialist-regressive."
