You think so? You need to visit London or Tokyo. They have way more surveillance than any city in the U.S. In London, they even use facial recognition software on the cameras on the streets.

The U.S. does have extensive foreign expertise, but our Bill of Rights protects us from what can legally be done domestically without a warrant. Some states do not even allow you to take a voice recording without permission from all parties.

since 9/11 our government has chipped away at our civil liberties all in the name of "safety".the majority of the pushback has come from the state level,not the federal.
I wish I had to confidence that some have in our federal government to uphold our civil liberties...but I do not trust our government....
