Looking to make war in Syria or Iran

Uhhh, about 1/2 right. Bolton is a chickenhawk warmongering sleazebag. As far as I've seen, Trump is avoiding war, up until this point.

Yeah, I agree. He's knows it's not good, or at least doesn't serve any great purpose for the country but Pompeo and Bolton have been pushing hard. I heard some rumors about Trump being unhappy with Bolton trying to get him into war in Venezuela so I hope that clued him in.

Wouldn't it be nice if Trump was the first Republican president not to start a war since, what, Ford? Especially with all the 'world is ending' hysteria we saw in 2016.

He is at heart a populist and the Republican parties unpopular ideas (less free things, more war) are being forced upon him, he doesnt really support them.
Its popular stuff however, he supports (less taxes, anti illegal immigration, less regulations)
He isnt a true Republican and definitely not a true conservative, for the good or the bad.
Mostly, Trump wants a win. He wants to withdraw from Syria and Afghanistan even though we didnt win (it want really something we could win in) because the people are tired of it.
He defeated ISIS with extra defense spending.
He is willing to go to war, for his Saudi friends. He vetoed the Yemen withdrawl

Good stuff. I think he is a little more understanding about Syria, seeing his very moderate reply to the Syrian 'gas attacks', quote, unquote, but that Yemen action is very disappointing.

I hope he realizes that with all the things he couldn't get done because of Rino and dem opposition, if he starts a needless war on top of it, his support will drop. Or maybe not. I suppose it'll matter how it gets spun.
