I can understand when something has being taken for elsewhere and posted without any attempt at alteration. But for the most part people are whining about memes which aren't actually reposts. 🤔 Some people would benefit from googling what a meme actually means🤷.

The stream rules here need to be altered a little.
Also when I reposted a meme and made it clear I had, some people moaned and bitched about it, then I’ve reposted another of my own just different wording at the bottom and the same people comment saying it’s funny!
A repost is in the eye of the beholder.

You seem to be good at handling the repost trolls 👍 although they still seem to not understand the meaning of the word meme 🤔 it's kind of sad that there are a few people so joyless as to constantly research memes in order to see if they are reposts or not 🤷.

I just got these this morning on the Sesame Street meme lol.
Readjusted had a meme unfeatured also for being a “repost” it’s a shame as she genuinely sat there and matched a joke to a template. It is even worded slightly differently and was about to get more upvotes, than one Raydog posted very similar a couple of months before.
Yet I can post a meme admitting it’s a repost and I hadn’t even changed the wording, just the colour and it sits at the top of page one for 24 hours?

I think that users screen name is becoming increasingly ironic. I don't like singling users out, but that user isn't just a repost troll, I've seen him in the past, constantly harrasing certain users with insults. (One of which I'm sure was only a young teen)

I remember seeing one of their memes on the front page, which was a repost. I felt like pointing out the hypocrisy at the time, but thought it best not to stoop to their level.

I've never been accused of reposting, but it does bother me when other users get harrassed, as I can see that they put a lot of effort into their memes. If people aren't going to learn what a meme actually is then they should probably not be on a meme site.
