Yes. America needs a bit of a shakedown to refresh our morality and restore common sense, and although Trump is not a very social and is a easily unlikable person, he is doing an amazing job helping America recover. Also, I recently saw a TIME magazine cover which illustrated Trump as a peach because so many Democrats were moving towards impeachment... Guess we've reverted from having intellectual discussions to making fun of your opponents on the professional level.
1 up, 2y,
Yeah. Because harming LGBT rights and building a wall to stop "illegals" from entering despite the fact that people will just dig under it is helping America.
WELL THEN WHY DID YOU SAY IMMIGRANTS CAN DIG UNDER IT? If it is in construction, then they cannot dig under it! You said that they can! You failed to mention all of your words; you failed to read YOUR OWN COMMENT!
0 ups, 2y,
👏 I didn't mean that they could dig under it now.
👏 I do read my own comments.
👏 I don't think you even read yours after you post them.
How am I taking your words out of context? You said that they will dig under it, but then you said that they cannot because it is not built yet. I am pointing out what YOU said, not me. Also, it's not very good debate practice to have two out of three sentences of your comment be an insult. Explain what you mean by what you say, then we can understand and have an actual debate without the mundane mudslinging you so like to utilize.
You're one to talk about repeating. The majority of your comments use the word "idiot," "moron," or some variation, without once using any factual evidence, merely insulting Trump and any supporters who comment here.
No, Socialism and Social Democracy are two different things. Social democracy is a political, social, and economic ideology that supports economic and social interventions to promote social justice within the framework of a liberal democratic polity and a capitalist economy. The protocols and norms used to accomplish this involve a commitment to representative and participatory democracy, measures for income redistribution, and regulation of the economy in the general interest and welfare state provisions. Thats also the the American Definition of Democratic Socialism. Which I find to not be accurate btw
True. Its important for any successful nation to maintaine a free Capitalistic economy, but I don't think government intervention corrupts that. If anything intervention, as described in the Social Democratic system, could be beneficial.
So what about the thousands of dollars of bonus to employees thanks to tax changes? Or a wall that keeps citizen-murdering gang members out of our country? If you are going to make a claim, back it up with evidence. Last time I checked, Obama increased our national debt by 8.588 TRILLION dollars. Out of 22 trillion total.
" a wall that keeps citizen-murdering gang members out of our country"
Oh come on now! Not all Mexicans who cross the border are Criminal Gang members! Most of them are just fleeing for their safety and for the future of their Children. Your just insulting them!
"Last time I checked, Obama increased our national debt by 8.588 TRILLION dollars. Out of 22 trillion total."
And what exactly has Trump done to stop it? He's passed a Tax cut which lowered Corporate Taxs drastically and by direct correlation a decrease in the Treasury which stopped the slow dcrease of debt at the start of the Trump Admin. and helped the debt grow
1. I'm not talking about ALL mexicans, I'm talking about those in gangs like MS-13 who immigrate ILLEGALLY (mind you that means it is not allowed) and kill our citizens without contributing to our society. Those immigrants who are trying to create a better future for themselves and their children can do so legally, as that is the way that things should be done (for the most part).
2. Trump's minor increase (2 trillion in comparison to 8.588 trillion) in national debt has yielded a 3.2% increase in GDP, which is, however slightly, more than Obama's 2.9%. Trump's tax cuts, while they damaged government income, allowed the economy to grow, which will increase government income without increasing taxes. You must pay an upfront price to gain more in the future. Trump knows this, and he has done it. He is a businessman more than a president, but a businessman is what America needs right now.
Obama's 8.588 trillion over TWO TERMS with a near-depression recession, TARP, the Stimulus, and 2 unpaid for wars at a trillion each per year?
What's Trump's excuse?
Not only has he outspent any President not facing the costs of war or severe economic downturn, that 1.3 trillion tax cut hole hasn't made itself felt yet.
In the meantime, EU countries - the major foreign purchasers of Treasuries - have become net sellers since 2017. With the immense bubble of the markets set to collapse, we're in trouble.
As YOU pointed out, the goverment already had been growing, and that's not only minus any tax cuts, but with the Great Recession to strain to climb out of.
I meant "hole" as in the eventual impact on the deficit, since that is $1.3 trillion that will never be there.
Oh, and never mind DJFox. Been looking out for that kid since last year, getting heaps of crap for it. He's been so irrritable lately he even turned on me a couple of weeks ago because he noticed old reliable was NOT his pet pit bull.
Saw him even emulating my language with his attacks on you about the wall, but minus the substance and the reason. I prefer to be an ornery asshole when it's called for, not because I just feel like lashing out.
Cutting taxes means companies can make more profit without increasing production, and you can use increased profits to buy more machines/hire more workers, which increases production and thus profits. It's a positive feedback that is the reason why companies can allocate so many funds.
