I think having private streams would be nice like for example I have a stream just for women in imgflip who want to chat about girl issues that they might not be comfortable just anyone seeing. But I think all main MODS should have access to prevent someone abusing that by setting up a porn stream or something.

Also if you have the top setting selected for "x" stream, users that are following "x" stream won't have that stream name showing on their profile page.

I think you want the top setting, which from what I can see on your profile is probably what you have selected now.

The word Public is in both settings and is a little confusing, but that basically means either way it's still on the internet inside imgflip.

The "Public and listed on imgflip.com" setting on the bottom means the stream name would be listed on your profile and the memes in that stream would be listed in a users profile page (and/or their Hot and Latest pages).

When I had this settings. The memes I posted in my own stream were not visible on my profile page.

Try changing this setting now on a stream or two.
It may make all the memes disappear that it applies to? I know when I posted my first two memes in ukcomedygold, I was confused as they weren’t displayed on my profile.
