It makes no difference if the candidate was the devil reincarnated. It takes a true unpatriotic idiot to think it's okay for our greatest adversary to effect an outcome of our election.

How are you going to find out if they changed any votes? How is that possible? We will never know the effectiveness of their sabotage. The issue here is to know exactly what they did and to try to prevent it from happening again.

How can anyone know if political lies and memes on facebook effected an individual voter? Over 100 million people saw tainted untruth statements, memes and lies that were biased toward Trump on facebook alone. The Russians were on instagram, facebook, twitter and every other major form of communication in America. Hundreds of millions, perhaps billions of comments, posts, memes and things that seemed to suggest Americans were voting toward Trump.

The 2016 election was one of the closest in history. We will NEVER know what effect they had.

All but one or two had absolutely EVERYTIHNG to do with working with Russians. Half are Russians! It's nice you think lying to congress and lying to investigators is no big deal.

We will never know the effects the Russians had on the election. To say it had no effect is as baseless as saying it did. We can't know, that's why it's important to investigate what happened, get to the bottom of it and try to prevent it from happening again.

I agree with your last paragraph but I doubt anyone is going to learn anything from this. Maybe it would also be time to consider how politicians in the government have meddled in foreign elections around the world as well. How's removing the democratically elected Assad going?

We've interfered with far too many elections and have removed perfectly fine democratically elected leaders around the world. It's one of the main reasons we have so many people entering our country from the southern border. It's our own fault.

That, doesn't mean we should allow other countries to do the same to us.
