Using sex to "sell" a product or idea is common place and part of our everyday lives here in the USA. Coca Cola uses curvy bottles because they are more visually appealing to human eyes than regular bottles since they mimic female curves. Everything does it. Fast food, perfume, title loans, insurance, soap, and yes, even American ideals.
