The dumb ass would be you. Jet fuel is basically kerosene, same as powered the lower booster of the Saturn V. ANY hydrocarbon - even in a pure oxygen environment - will NOT MELT STEEL.
And that's before we even get into the fact that the momentum carried most of the fuel OUT of the building in a big fireball and left nothing but paper fires, which you can see in the color of the smoke.
And then there's that nasty problem of the ridiculously high thermal dispersion rates of steel too. But I'm getting all sciencey on ya, I'll stop for now :-/
