white house

white house | Every other man that has been President of the United States took on the responsibilities and restrictions of that office seriously (at least in part). I believe Trump sees being President as being free of any responsibilities or restrictions. He believes he can do what -he- wants while in office. He is advancing his personal goals and repaying personal vendettas. He doesn't give a sh!t about anybody but himself and his interests. Prove me wrong. | image tagged in white house | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

so yes maybe he is less effective when he has to drag others along. thanks good point. I don't think he'll stop trying tho.

He seems to get more resistance from both sides than any president I've seen. Maybe he'll end up resorting to executive orders like Obama did when he gets fed up enough. He certainly could get bolder since the Mueller investigation is over.

I don't particularly like Trump, but why should I try to change your mind? If you've reached a conclusion and you're happy with it anything I might say would ultimately just be a waste of effort because you've already reached a conclusion and would refuse to acknowledge any argument made. If you're asking me to 'prove you wrong,' then perhaps you're already questioning your own conclusion.

Either way, why should anyone else do your thinking for you?

u r correct-- and why I didn't use the "change my mind" template. regarding Trump I believe what medical professionals write abt his behavior-- that he is a narcissist. if u google "famous narcissists" I promise Trump will be on most of the lists.

I am not questioning whether he is a narcissist. I truly was wondering if anyone had an example of when Trump put something or someone ahead of his own personal interests. that would prove he might hav some sense of what it means to be President. if not he is just out for what he can grab for himself, fame and attention included.

I believe Trump is narcissistic, which is a personality disorder. I am not alone in this and no matter how many times u say blah blah blah MAGA it doesn't change the fact that he is NOT right in the head. stay on that sinking ship sailor, full speed ahead straight down.

I really don't want to fight and I just hav to write I don't understand what u r saying. "Always the personal attacks" -- against Trump, yes. I hav voted for Republicans before in my life, I was raised in a Republican family.

I completely separate Trump from policy discussions because the man can NOT stick to a script. He is a completely "in the moment" guy and all his business bankruptcies help prove that.

He does not author policies fitting of the US. He tweets sound- bite sized bits of mostly English and he denies the next day what he tweeted and we all know he tweeted it.

Mitch and the Republican establishment thought they could control him but they can't. Mitch and the rest of the crew hav to decide if they r going to go with the RNC and not allow a Republican challenger. Mitch wants power but he doesn't want Trump for four more years. Trump is too much of a liability.

I am throwing some fairly serious debate points not rocks. And as far as a Republican policy debate we could talk abt environmental concerns or taxing businesses or whether we should privatize the USPS or really how will any of us be able to afford medical care-- but I am not going to talk abt Trump in that discussion.

Final thought-- isn't saying that I hav TDS a personal attack against me? But that is ok I guess, somehow?
