Kind of. As much as I hate the rich cheating, it's kind of hard to be too upset about someone doing everything they can to help their children succeed. But I don't know much of the details. But I know Asians and whites have a harder time getting into higher education as compared to others with a lower SAT score thanks to affirmative action policies, except for quasi 'celebraties' like David Hogg who got into Harvard with a very low SAT score. Meritocracy should be the defining factor, not celebrity, wealth or race.

Asians have brought a lawsuit against Harvard over it. It's the only instance of systematic racism I see and the other thing is many are brought in over their heads, in the name of diversity, can't hack it, drop out and are then stuck with tuition costs.

What I have an issue with is the potential sentence she could get if convicted on everything - 40 years?? This is unwarranted for what is a malum prohibitum, victimless crime. Serious and violent felonies, even murder, don't get this kind of sentence. (She probably wouldn't get anywhere near that, but a year or two is probable, and even that is too much.) Meanwhile, Juicy Smellit skates altogether.
