I remember the Family Ties episode where he got his emmy. Good stuff. Thought he and Penn were great in Casualties of War. Fox impressed me more in that movie. But he was so little, like so many Pacinos or Cruises or Walhbergs or Radcliffes. More shorties than John Waynes in Hollywood.

When he gave up being a contractor and carpenter and became a movie star. Although, to his credit, he looked disgusted when he announced polanski's oscar.

Think it was a double episode. I remember it as one of the first sitcoms that had the power of a movie, although I was probably 9. Saw All In the Family, maybe later. Perhaps.

Guy's a great actor. Why the hell didn't he stick with it. He directed Into the Wild masterfully. Well, what can I say, buddy married Madonna. Got problems.

Merly Streep averts her eyes and chokes a sob, Tom Hanks looks mildly befuddled yet deeply concerned, Jack Nicholson looks like botox was tested on his eyebrows before it was a thing... All these 'greats' have one single expression each, and I would like to add my foot up their ass to see if they can change it for at least a sec...
