SNL is flaming garbage.

Hmmmm, I can't think of another politician that has been so mercilessly, and not always but very often, unfairly attacked than Trump. His kids, his wife. His name (Drumpf), his skin color lol. Now, whining about a 'comedy' show is different than attacking the dishonest media but seeing how SNL NEVER mocks Hillary, Obama, Big Mike, Schiff, Maxine, Warren and other laughable dems, I see where he's coming from, even if he should just ignore it and worry about bigger issues. A little humility would go a long way for him, I'd think.

people in the public eye,especially the president,are particularly targeted.it is the nature of the beast.you can't pick and choose how you will be adored or vilified,and trump receives BOTH,so he needs to lay off the butthurt tweets,and stop acting like a petulant child.

Yeah, I agree with you mostly but from my recollection, and I wasn't around for Nixon, but even with Dubya and Obama, there still seemed to be a certain respect for the office of the president, even with Dubya and I was no fan of him, but the dem politicians still offered him respectful courtesy, same with the Repubs and Obama that Trump certainly doesn't enjoy.

I'm sure Trump does. Most 'elites' do have a vastly over inflated ego and sense of importance. Trump can be his worst enemy often but I suppose he's going to stick with his 'streetfighter' rep, whether it's genuine or because he knows alot of his base likes it. I think it's refreshing to see a politician with some backbone but one should pick their battles.

Didn't watch SNL during the Obama years until 2015 but at the end SNL was her biggest cheerleader. Remember McKinnon as Hillary playing Hallelujah?

because selling opinion as news,which caters to "outrage addicts" and ignores a balanced and respectful approach,has created a climate of hyper-tribalism in which normal americans view anyone who who identifies from an opposing "party" is automatically mentally deficient,and to be ridiculed and shunned for somehow being "lesser".
