So nothing serious to complain about?

Our government has become a soap opera. You can skip it for a week and you haven't missed a thing. It's still just a bad script. Lol.

Yeah, that's a universal thing. I took a break from politics, cable, newspapers and the Internet for 6 years. Became peaceful as a Hindu cow.

I haven't watched the "news" in 15 years but it's all over the internet so it was hard to miss. I've never been much for commercials so all I ever watch is movies. I'm usually outside watching flowers and veggies grow or laughing at the wildlife. It's hard to care about trump anymore. He's a liar beyond any politician. I actually think he's still playing like this is just his new reality TV series.

I haven't watched a new movie in years, won't support Hollywood but I can't help but love movies from the 70's. Plus the odd foreign movie.

Watched part of an old Doris Day western the other day. Old antiquated mentality of, "You're just a woman that needs a man" like lot's of older movies and lots of animals getting hurt. Needless to say I didn't watch all of it. I just didn't remember Doris Day in any westerns. I love foreign films. I'm looking for a movie that I don't know how it will end within two minutes of the opening credits. A good story. Not a "kill the dog" or "alien eats the kid" type of shocking junk. I need a completely different kind of story that's never been written. Something new without predictability. So I continue to watch the same stories with different sets and costumes like everyone does. "Silence of the Lambs" was the last time a movie got to me other than being super upset over the screwing up of "The Dark Tower".

I can't tolerate commercials. I can't even walk by a tv with commercials on without lipping off. I freaking hate commercials. I believe brainwashing people into feeling inadequate because they don't clean their house with the product of the month and telling kids what freakin toy they have to have to be part of the cool kids and the pharmaceutical drug commercials should be illegal. Have you ever noticed that everytime there's a new drug commercial there's a law firm offering to sue the drug company that just told you about their newest drug in the previous commercial? They were still running Yaz contraceptive commercials WHILE a law firm ran ads for the class action suit against Yaz contraceptives. Ugh! I hate commercials.

If you want to see an awesome foreign movie, I recommend a Chinese movie called 'The King of Masks'. Awesome acting, good story, altho it has some weird Chinese opera bits BUT it is really good. Don't look it up, it has some twists but if you can find it, check it out.
