Actually not true. Once you build your farcebook profile up, they will still datamine and use the accumulated data to expand your profile for advertisement purposes.

Lol, I remember in the earlier years there were rumors floating around that membership would soon cost money. It could've been just rumors, but I remember people were talking about it like crazy.

This is about people who are getting extremely upset that Facebook bans whatever content they want, yet they still use it because.... ??? I dunno. This is why I'm saying, if they don't want it, it's not a mandatory thing. There was such a thing as life before Facebook.

They may be private companies, but they have opened themselves up as public forums, therefore the first amendment applies, the same way it does when any private business opens its building to a public debate for a night.

Hey, I'm just saying. I've heard a lot of complaints by people who also say, "If you don't like it, don't participate in it." I understand it's hard to leave; I had a couple of withdrawls myself when I quit. And this was BEFORE all this censorship began!
