I guess my biggest question is, what program do you use to make a gif? I had Gimp, and I was also trying to use Paint.net. But I could never figure out how to go about the process. So basically I stalled straight out of the gate.

The gif maker here. All you need is a source and you copy and paste it in the gif maker. imgflip.com/gif-maker YouTube is gold for source.

Super easy but upvote memes or moving images are trickier.

ANNNND there is my problem. That is exactly what I was trying to do! I was actually thinking a snake with the green up vote arrow in place of his tongue. I found a cool looking wavy type of arrow that I would love to use in it. Hmmm..... the brain is working here.

Post the pic or vid and the arrow and we'll see what we both come up with.

After you process your gif, you'll see the second link (BBCode forums) or under share in your completed meme, copy it as so: [url=imgflip.com/gif/2xvux2][img]2xvux2.gif (click to show)[/img][/url]

Now delete the beginning and end so you get this: h*t *t*p*s*://i.imgflip.com/2xvux2.g*i*f (Asterisk for demo purposes)

And you'll end up with this: 2xvux2.gif (click to show)

By copy it as so, i mean just copy everything as is.
