Yeah I see memes got a hell of a lot more upvotes more regularly some 3-4 years ago. Especially comment threads on top memes 50+ sometimes.
That’s sorely lacking at the moment. Even 7 or 8 weeks ago when I had a number 1 meme for a good half a day, there was 200 or so comments. But it seems to have suddenly come to a grinding halt on here.

I remember you posting a lot and thinking you were being funny. I remember that you wrote for a living and your comments were well thought out and long. This was around 2016/2017 time period before I deleted my first account.

I feel like the community has changed a lot since then.

THanks for that, it used to be a community of support not competition, things tend to thrive in those conditions. Competition may bring out the best in some, but support brings out the best in all...
