that's what I watched for two years from the more left leaning media,and maddow was the glenn beck of that sinking ship.

Beck was self-adulating, using forced tears to add a veneer of faux humility to his doofy cockiness.

Maddow's "Just like you folks, I..." approach barely conceals what teaters close to what haters might see as condescending arrogance, but her demeanor won't allow her to take herself or the subject at hand too seriously.

Glen acted like he might take it upon himself to save the world ("People ask me if I'd run for for President" ..... "We started the Civil Rights movement and we're taking it back").

Rachel knows it's all an absurd joke run amok.

The closest to Rachel Maddow on Fox would be the pre-The Five Greg Gutfeld, minus the snot picking humor. They're both snarky yet relatable, Maddow occupying a slightly more serious and formal plane.

smart and did a really good job at breaking down arguments.

my comparison lies in how she became more and more "Russia Russia Russia" and would even fear-monger on a nightly basis about Russian collusion,speculating often "what if this,and what if that".

which was exactly what beck used to do.
it didn't fill me with righteous glee watching her torch her own credibility,trust me.
it just made me sad...

but by the comments,it appears i am the only one who saw the comparisons.
