That's a photo I actually took. It was in the underground parking of the hotel I was working at today

$70/bottle, but dang that's some good stuff! Celebrations only. Also, I know you like the rittenhouse which is higher proof, if you ever want to splurge go for glenlivet cask strength, I think its 110P but oh so smooth. Got a bottle as a wedding gift once, way before I had an appreciation for whiskey and even then I was like "whoa" that's good stuff!

I can go through a bottle in less than a week if it's good stuff, so that would probably not be a great idea.
I have been putting ice in my drinks now, so it does last a tad longer...

I was all set to pick up a bottle of Basil Hayden's last week at my local Safeway, but it was on sale, so they were all out, of course.

I generally buy my booze at costco cuz I'm a cheap bastard.
I can get a bar litre of rebranded Dewar's for $17.99

A little smoky for me, but not bad. For $18 a bottle it's hard to beat I suppose! I'm a fan of costco liquors but wish they had more to choose from, basically 2 of each type of liquor and that's it

Especially if you had a bourbon just before that

Although I have drank all three in that order before in his honor! Yeah, I find most blended scotches to be too smoky, even JW, but I've heard copper dog is a good one, just have yet to find it.

If given the choice of scotch, it would always be a single malt. But at $18 a bar litre I can't complain too much

Hard to argue with that logic! It's hard to find a decent single malt under $30 a bottle. Glenlivet is probably the best I know of, total wine also carries one called Grangestone, I think it was one of their house brands for about $25 or 30 a bottle, it's pretty good
