I can't believe these muppets actually think a wall will stop drugs. Nothing stops users or dealers. Security evolves, so do they, only difference is, they don't need congress' approval for financing the evolution. I bin dabbling in drugs for 25 years, if one guy's busted or "out", there's always someone else, always.

In the 80s when the authorities tried stopping them from driving over the border, they went by boat over the Gulf to Florida. When they went after that, they went to Puerto Rico. Then the Dominican Republic.....

And that's not including the FBI giving Black communities heroin in the 60s, or Ronald Reagan having the CIA transport so much cocaine into the US, it started the crack epidemic.

Maybe these idiots should focus on stopping the US Goverment's war WITH drugs to placate the masses.

Love to see a wall stop bikers from making meth and suburbanites borrowing mommy's Oxys. The USA per capita far exceeds the rest of the world in drug use. Maybe its time to put capitalism into use and stop demand. That should end the need for supply.

I'd say you're right, gumby. The southern border isn't the only way for drugs to enter the country, but securing it with a physical barrier will make it cost more to get it into the country. The wall won't stop the flow, but it will "help stop" the flow.

Fentanyl doesn't just come from China. There is some that comes from Mexico.

That's cool. I'm not an expert on fentanyl, but attended a webinar last week for the family court side of my job. Two milligrams is enough to cause an overdose and death. That sugar packet is about two grams...

That is horrible.

I'm not gonna asking why people do this to themselves, most of my friends in the 90s being hardcore addicted (met people hanging out in the park drinking after I moved to the neighborhood when crack use was waning), but it's just so destructive.
I may ridicule folks using, but really it's just so sad.
