I WANT the racists,the bigots,and the muppet class to have the right to say whatever twisted ideology they wish to promote.so we can see them openly.
an ideology built on a house of cards,extreme bias or prejudice,cannot withstand scrutiny when brought into the market of ideas.
those ideologies are quickly exposed as having very little validity when challenged.there will always be bad ideas,and the point is to not eradicate all bad ideas,but to bring them to light so we all can benefit.
intelligent people will adapt to new information,and change their views accordingly.ideologues seek only the safety and comfort of their own confirmation bias,and have no desire to question their own belief system.
if we restrict,or attempt to silence these ideologues.then they simply go underground,and become their own echo chamber.
it is in this darkness that some of us become radicalized.
this is not a quick process,but rather a slow burn,where their ideology is carefully crafted,molded,and tended with a constant re-affirmation that their ideology is "right".
the only way to combat this,in my opinion,is to drag the ideologue out into the light and expose the fundamental flaw in their belief systems.
