Well since dog years are longer than human years that would mean the dog will live longer than an immortal person in dog years.

Infinity is beyond our days. It has no beginning. Our days have a beginning, because today is the end day in a long series of days. (Ending at this exact moment in time.). Infinity by it’s very definition is without beginning or end.

First off, you earlier said eternity, not infinity.
Second, time had a beginning.

Explain the difference between eternity and infinity. I thought they were the same...

I realize now I switched up my thoughts.
I consider eternity to be time without bound both ways, like a line in geometry.
Infinity is endless in one way or direction, like a ray in geometry.

I think of them both like a perfect circle, without end or beginning. But I see your reasoning. Eternity seems to be used more with time and afterlife, where infinity is used more with numbers. But hey, if you switch those thoughts around, and you look at the infinity symbol, it’s really just an endless crazy-eight track that we’re all on!... ; )
