I only downvote memes, if they're blatantly being offensive, but I hate it when people downvote for no reason. Maybe Imgflip could add a texbox where you state your reasoning for downvoting, and if its legit then the downvote is added, if it's not then it won't be added.

People would just type . in the text boxes.
