this is the result of a media that constantly pumps fear and conflict,just for ratings.where political discourse has become akin to reality tv,cult of self and spectacle.
it has ratcheted up the fear quotient,whilst simultaneously dehumanized and marginalized people who may disagree with us,or have different ideas.
it is like a new racism,but now it includes ideologies,politicial affiliations and religious philosophy.
