Maybe we could just take some money out of our totally over the top military budget.

No he says he wants it to be paid through taxes, instead of through people paying for it independantly, which creates a huge customer with lots of weight and bargaining power in the market, and partly because of that lowers prices for everyone.

And Denmark

Yeah except Denmark has a 55% tax rate.

Denmark also has virtually no economic mobility.. born poor, stay poor. Maybe reach lower middle class. But you'll never become wealthy, no matter how hard you try.

Hahahahaha, you just claimed one of the countries with highest social mobility has no economic mobility xD http://cphpost.dk/news/living-the-perfect-american-dream-in-denmark.html

Oh I see you are quoting a right wing think tanks research, the thing that the right wing think tank study you are referring to claims social mobility is only a bit better in denmark, and that people are much happier than in the US. Great evidence you got there ;)

Since the study claims social mobility is only a bit better than in the US accourding to your right wing think tank source, do you still think that Denmark has virtually no social mobility? Or do you think America Also has no social mobility?

So you definitely can't read. I feel sorry for you. In neither of my posts did the words "social mobility" ever come up. Keep doubling down on your retardation though, it's funny.

Social mobility is mentioned in your article 8 times, economic mobility is mentioned a whopping 0 times, who is the idiot XD

Social and economic mobility are very similar in their definitions, but you don't really want to understand where I'm coming from so whatever ;) This is for the other people looking at this thread.

The United States had about 1/3 the ratio of inter-generational economic mobility of Denmark and less than half that of Canada, Finland and Norway.

Wait, so you're using an article from 2007 to try and refute mine from 2016? LOL. The people looking at this thread can see pretty clearly what the situation is: If a dane's parents only graduated high school, they are very unlikely to achieve a college degree themselves. If a dane's parents graduated college with a 4 year degree, they are unlikely to surpass that as well. You can use all the outdated articles you like, it doesn't change the underlying FACT that mobility in denmark is pretty piss poor, and any mobility they do have is a result of obscene taxes on the wealthy. You are proposing destroying our economy and wealth generation in exchange for no practicable results. "Let's raise taxes to an obscene rate, and then we'll still stay as poor as our parents! Yay!"

Outdated articles lol xD BUT muh articul is new... xD I called u stooped for using the word social mobility but muh article only used social mobility, so uhm uh... buuh.. UR ARTICUL IS OLD!!! - Ohwell

Now see there, your "new" or "hot" article, is from a right wing think tank, and it claims that social mobility is only marginally better than in the US xD so according TO YOUR SOURCE america has worse than PISS POOR social mobility.

I do not source my articles from right wing think tanks, and my article claims the social mobility in Denmark is much better. You can believe what you want. But you shot yourself in the foot m8.

The following statement is so full of BS, damn son you reached another level!
"You are proposing destroying our economy and wealth generation in exchange for no practicable results. "Let's raise taxes to an obscene rate, and then we'll still stay as poor as our parents! Yay!"" - Ohwell

We are proposing investing the the american economy and improving it. If we don't fundamentally take into account climate change it is going to cost us more than the initial investment in damage. It is the most cost effective solution to the problem facing us. WE NEED to get ahead of the problems, not wait for storms to hit us and then rebuild every time like nothing has changed.

The fastest growing industries in the US are in green industry, even though they have to compete with heavily subsidized coal and oil. So actually you are mistaken, it is where we need to invest if we are going to have a strong economy and energy independence. Stop shooting yourself in the foot with BS arguments dude xD

So extreme taxes in exchange for "slightly better" is worth it in your mind? LOL

"i dun look at news from the right wing cuz left wing will never lie to me xDxDxDxD" K, bud.

In fact you make my argument for me, you have to pay a good amount of taxes and you get to live in one of the best countries in the world according to the quality of life. Along with others nordics like Norway, Sweden, Iceland and Finland. Canada is there too. The U.S. Ranks way down at 18th.

We don't lie, we have good times in the socialist Scandinavia ;) We just want you guys to have a great country too!

Also we read news from all sources and then we look into the sources. If the sources have an agenda they are less credible ;)

"So you definitely can't read. I feel sorry for you. In neither of my posts did the words "social mobility" ever come up. Keep doubling down on your retardation though, it's funny." - Btw i was giving you the benefit of doubt, but I guess you just can't realise that XD
