Yes. The point is that it took less than a year to find out that it was demoralizing and nobody wanted to work until William Bradford decided to give everyone a plot a land to farm and said they could keep overages for themselves.. they had so much that they had a feast giving thanks to God for their survival.. this came to be called thanksgiving

Not if you become the Owner... giving you land socialist style means there are strings attached and you have to pay property taxes.. but if you file a claim and get a land pattent.. then you dont pay property taxes because you own it.. its yours and nobody else's
