Democracy Dies in Darkness is their sensationalistic headline. They are a business, selling their version of everything.

They want us to know and be free, because they love us, and it will only cost....

I'm not encouraging ignorance, I'm making a sarcastic point about idealogy (and media) in the US: Whatever you're passionate about someone will try to make a buck selling you more of, but you might not be getting what you're paying for. And the image of your meme doesn't depict democracy dying in darkness. It shows an illuminated liberty showing through the darkness.

Well, at least we agree on one thing, I could have picked a better background image! :)
The newspaper has lots of contrasting views. As well as regulars like Marc A. Thiessen there is a guest opinion piece by Ted Cruz right now.. I think the paper is excellent, but it's probably a good idea to read a variety of newspapers if you have the time.

Then that makes two things we agree on - it IS a good idea to read a variety of sources!

Must take news from diverse sources...i.e. only using CNN or MSNBC as a news source is bad, mmmkay? Only using Fox or Breitbart as a news source is bad, mmmkay? Use Fox and CNN and you see both, albeit extreme, sides, and then you come to a compromise of your own and you have the real news! Lots of commas...too many? Probably.
