Never have I heard a conservative run on ending contraceptives. I'm sure you can probably dig up someone in LA or AL, but never on the national scene. If I had known it was red herring season I would have brought my rod and reel.

Possibly a minor sticking point for a few, but never was a mainstream argument against and you know that. I also think that the Catholic Church is in error on contraception. However I also think the vast majority of Catholics use it and don't talk about it, otherwise our population would be a lot higher!

I had 2 family members that worked for the welfare office in chester pa. and skipack pa. Both of them were case workers. they would give the ppl 100's of condoms, ppl with 10 kids, they would come back expecting and they would asked if they used the free birth control they were given, nope... Nobody is more pro contraception than me.I think they should have free condoms etc in schools like free water at water fountains. etc. but many times ppl are just too lazy to use protection.

If your having sex with no protection then pregnancy is a high possibility, you know what pre cum is right? If you don't use protection its common sense your probably getting pregnant. Its a choice. Your responsible for your actions. Grinding up living beings because your an idiot shouldn't be a option. Especially on our tax dollars.

Groups that have actually offered free voluntary sterilization procedures in impoverished areas were actually criticized as "mean spirited" and "racist" (I'm assuming since most impoverished areas have a high minority population).
There are several charities and government programs that will offer free hormonal birth control. So the meme claiming a lack of access is intellectually dishonest.

Conspiracy theory alert: I think the push towards not just the legalization, but the acceptance of, or at least desensitization to, abortion is part of a longer term plan. If or when population controls become mandated, if most of the population accepts abortion as merely a common medical procedure (like vaccines) for the "good of society" forcing people to get them will receive far less of a backlash, if any at all, from the people.
