I didn't mention my background. My comment is simple, democracy, socialism, communism, whatever system is used, the only people that really gain are at the top.

No government is worse than to powerful of a government only because an outside power will take what they want. The solution has historically been a set of small governments surrounding a larger one or forming it when needed. Think old Europe and you will see what I mean. Elected or not, government only works when its power is limited.

But the anarchy I have in mind is world anarchy,where on the entire planet,there is no such thing as a government,politician,authority,or any unnatural,man-made hierarchy.

I imagine this scenario:a bunch of people gathered together one day and one of them said:"Allright guys,we are all too incompetent an irresponsible to take care of ourselves,so we'll all have one dude who'll tell us what we can and what we can't do,and we will not be allowed to disobey him.Oh,and also,we'll give him 'bout one fifth of the money we make every month because if we don't pay him to boss us around,there'd be no way he'd survive" And from that point onwards,the illusion grew greater and greater,never to be seen through and dissolved...

And regarding the historical solution,it would seem you have the law of ancient Greece in mind(although many other tribal countries practiced the same law):live in small groups(tribes),all with their own hierarchy,and unite only in dire times,such as a foreign invasion or a natural disaster. That's a nice solution in case some foreigners attacked. But instead of fighting with foreign groups,why not simply realize that there's no such thing as a foreigner?
