But it's not as common for straight people to be harrassed just for being straight.
But I did read an article about how some teenage transgender females were confused as to why straight cis-gendered boys weren't interested in dating them. It's not complicated, for many straight males, regardless of how you identify, a p**is a deal breaker. I think it's reasonable to expect people to respect a person's identity in a non-intimate situation, but once romance or sex becomes involved, all bets are off.

Maybe, but not even most cis women assume /any/ straight cis guy they meet is automatically into them.
