Absolutely. My sister has that job, so I hear quite a bit about it. You could say I grew up in a health care oriented family, because my brother was a physician's assistant and my aunt worked in a nursing home before she retired. Thank you :-)
Lol NP, I can't tell you how many times my mother comes home angry, Friday was a great example, but it's good to know that it's not just my mom suffering. (But then again she did win a Daisy so she's not all that pissed off anymore)
Sweet. I hear quite a few stories of the patients in the hospital (I don't know if this stuff is confidential, but I hear it anyway lol) and there are lots of hurting people in there. Of course, in some cases they are just stupid and it's their fault they're in the hospital, but I can absolutely relate to that :-)
Yeah, and trust me what mom tells me what she does at her job, I can fully assure you that it's not confidential. My mom doesn't like her job but she does like helping people.
Yep. Helping people seems to be the major driving force for health care workers... although once they get the job they realize that it isn't as glamorous, perhaps, as they thought it would be.
Nope, it's not, my mom's shown me pics of some stuff she's using for college, it's pretty gruesome, but not scarring, in fact it looked pretty disgusting but interesting at the same time.
Haha. My sister used to have a fascination with 1700s era surgery equipment... specifically, she liked the tool that they used for boring a hole in someone's head to relieve pressure ;-)
