So I'm a hypocrite for /not mentioning/ a different fact? Does that make you a hypocrite for not mentioning in this conversation that Louis Farrakhan's "Nation of Islam" is as bad as Hitler's Nazi Germany, in terms of ideology?

First off, you apparently completely missed the point I was trying to make.

(Oh, and gosh, "We are talking about Islam, Christianity is a completely different religion.)

Secondly, you apparently don't know the difference between "ideology" and "action". Sadly, that's exactly why I USED the "in ideology" qualifier, because they haven't committed the actions... at least not yet.

Guess it was my mistake to assume you were intelligent enough to understand that.

"Supported socialism"
Hitler's Nazi party was called the "National Socialist" party, but he never supported actual socialism. I'm not defending socialism here; I'm just pointing out his likely positions based on his actions.

"Took away guns"
I don't support gun control, and I know many left-leaning individuals would question me on that. However, Hitler let his allies (which was the majority of Germany at the time) keep their weaponry, and if Obama ever were to "take away guns" from Americans, then he'd most likely use a different method than Hitler used back in the day.

Read some history. And political theory. Socialists fought Hitler's rise every step of the way. The first in the camps & murdered were the socialists. Nazis are not socialist. Thinking they are is one of the most stupid stances a person can take. You must have terrible trouble navigating Buffalo wings.
