Let me guess. You use lady schick?

:) Clever. No. First I started using generic brands, Dollar Shave Club for several years. I haven't used a blade since September.

I don't care for companies with a conscience, especially since I consider it all to be a sales gimmick anyway. But given how overpriced their products are, I don't use them anyway.

As for the message, I think it goes too far. But that's what happens in this country, doesn't it? We react against one side by embracing the opposite extreme. I don't one has to accept the drivel of their commercial to be against the behavior of rape, harassment, hazing and bullying. There's more than one way to be a man, and there's a middle path between extremist positions. Regardless, I won't be looking to a commercial for my role models.

Yeah, I've done the goatee thing for about 20 years or so, but haven't gone total clean since before that. I'll probably use the trimmer the same way.

Fair enough. I haven't even seen the ad.
Just think people calling for a boycott are silly.

It's a long ad, and not especially good in my opinion. I didn't burn my Nikes either. Might not buy another pair. But if I ever decide to boycott something, I won't go online to rant about it, I'll just do it.

Yep. Seems to me the ones calling for a boycott are very fragile and looking for backup.
Never have liked Nike products.

I wouldn't support Home Depot. Ken Langone was a huge Trump supporter claiming he would become "presidential" after being elected. The real reason he supported Trump was to get the tax cuts on big business. Heck if a monkey won the republican nomination he would of claimed the same thing.

The ad is total cringe. It's almost funny in that it seems like whomever made it was covertly trying to make it backfire. It's really that embarrasingly awful and the forced altruism makes "pc" seem beyond inadequate as a term.

It used to be that the cheapo ones were good, not even them anymore (the black ones are better than the blue, it seems. If I could find them).

Gillette and the other pricey ones barely get one cheek done before getting duller than a butter knife with a plastic veneer. I've given up on them all. Dollar or die.

And that commercial looks like a parody of PC. There were people who really produced, reviewed and approved this thing?

It was directed by a virulent feminazi, shocking, huh?

Yeah, that was disturbing. Aussie men turing to steroids because they were bullied!?! I thought that's why Foster's comes in oil cans.

I used to be related to someone like that. Then I decided I was adopted so that ended that problem.

I agree. That ad just seemed weird to me. I'm not trading my Gilette over it, but it seemed like someone going overboard trying to be PC and for no real good reason.

They showed the whole thing on Colbert the other night, I thought it was a joke, like they added to it to make it even more ridiculous.

Looks like someone met Michael Jackson's rhinoplasty dr.
And that is not a good thing.

Bruce died when he married into the Kardashians.

What other Olympic heroes come to mind? Mark Spitz? Dorothy Hamill? Even Luke Skywalker did her do. Gosh, it was awful. Yet kind of cool in the weird way of that day.

Who would have thought that seemingly crappy era was the last golden age?
