The worst we did was a "sissy test" with a pencil eraser as far as I can recall. These kids now eat laundry detergent and everything else. I double dog dare my kids to be this stupid. LOL

I never ate any, but I think one of the other guys tasted it. I don’t remember his reaction, so maybe he bailed out.
The stuff they do today is dangerously stupid!

My mom freaked out. She came in and we were steady shoveling it in. I was maybe 4 years old at the time. LOL

This game involved chasing each other... with (as you may already guess) cat crap on the end of a stick. Don't know what my parents were doing. We were free range. We survived. LOL

Dookie Time wasn’t played in my neighborhood, lol :-)
We did dangerous things like throwing a circular saw blade into the air, and trying to stand near where it was going to land. Or, throwing a galvanized steel trash can lid at the overhead power lines. We sharpened lawn darts and threw them at everything! As long as it wasn’t the targets that they were designed to be thrown at.
Ugh, I’m lucky I’m alive :-)

My brothers had one they were tossing around. My younger brother got his ankle cut open when he missed as it was tossed his way. Good and rusty too! Thank God for Tetanus shots! I think we should all be awarded some kind of medal for making it out in one piece! LOL

Problem is too many decent people get taken into this and THEY are the one's who die.

I think a lot of these challenges are really hoaxes trying to hurt people. Luckily, there was no internet when I was that young. We did stupid shit, but it wasn’t viral dragging others into our stupidity.

The internet didn't get popular until I was in my teens. Stupid trends have been around for millennia, of course.

I'm surprised they didn't get killed! I want to know how the insurance company responds to this. Because you know they will find out the details.

Worse they could have killed someone else. I imagine the insurance company will not be so kind and rightfully so. Stupidity like this shouldn't be rewarded.

When I am out on the road I keep an eye out for people who seem to be driving dangerously, or distracted. I also point it out to my kids. I want them to get in the habit of paying attention to their surroundings on the road. You never know when you may narrowly miss getting killed by people doing these sorts of things.

You're quite right to do so and it sets a good example for your children as well. It's sad that people even have to think about idiots like that on the road.

I homeschool my kids. I don't just let the lessons start and end during "school hours". I think learning should be a way of life. There is always something to teach. I think it's a shame that schools teach everything but life. All that being said, I had a few close calls recently thanks to people not doing right on the road. Nearly ran over a bicyclist who was dressed in dark clothing and had no reflective gear to speak of. I didn't see him until I was nearly on top of him. Scared me to death!

Yeah I think there are a lot of things in life that school can never prepare anyone for. I think some people are to caught up in their own egos that they forget to look at what's going on around them. They end up doing stupid things that very often other people have to pay for.

And then because there rarely consequences it becomes as you mentioned, Their stupidity gets rewarded and they develop a sense of entitlement about their actions. It's a nasty cycle. Once it starts you cannot stop it.
