I've been saying all along that Trump's Cambridge Analytica data went to the Russians so they could better target Americans on social media.

Yeah that's really normal behavior to have your campaign manager flying around the world discussing thing with people like that. That said, we still don't know whether Trump was aware of this or not.

Are you trying to say discussing poll results with foreign nationals is a crime????

That's a good question. I think the only thing we know for sure yet is that he (Manafort) lied about it, and that violated his cooperation agreement. I don't think we know enough about the details yet to say what did or didn't amount to collusion - or a crime. The meme shows the tip of an iceburg. What has been revealed to the public is a lot less than what is known by people like Mueller. The general public does know an awful lot of circumstantial evidence about contacts between the Trump campaign and highly connected Russians. If the polling data was used to illegally influence the elections then Manafort would be guilty at least of abetting a crime.

LOL, good luck proving that last one.

well, I know we're all about rhetoric here in imgflip land, but it is illegal for other countries to interfere in our election, and when the other country is an adversary, and your campaign manager provides them information to facilitate that - that's pretty damn serious stuff.

That's not the point. The point is trying to prove opinion data influenced elections will be harder than pissing up a rope.

but you don't have to prove that. Abetting a crime - or an attempted crime is a crime, whether it was ultimately successful or not. If you rob a bank and you're weren't successful, you don't get off because it wasn't successful.

You have to prove that was what discussing poll data was for.

yes, I agree there
