Historical fact... Hitler and the NSDAP made it very clear that socialism was something they absolutely hated to the core and wanted to banish from the world, and Hitler would feel insulted by your meme if he could see it. Hitler's ideology is called "NATIONAL SOCIALISM" and that is completely different ideology than "SOCIALISM". Openly declaring you were a socialist in Germany during Hitler's reign as chancellor and Führer was a very effective way to commit suicide.

Sorry, but my history teacher was pretty strict on that to never confuse socialism and national socialism, so this meme is by fact historically incorrect.

Thats maybe your teachers view let's see what Hitler said about Socialism with a few direct Quotes:

Socialism as the final concept of duty, the ethical duty of work, not just for oneself but also for one’s fellow man’s sake, and above all the principle: Common good before own good, a struggle against all parasitism and especially against easy and unearned income. And we were aware that in this fight we can rely on no one but our own people. We are convinced that socialism in the right sense will only be possible in nations and races that are Aryan, and there in the first place we hope for our own people and are convinced that socialism is inseparable from nationalism.
"Why We Are Anti-Semites," August 15, 1920 speech in Munich at the Hofbräuhaus. Speech also known as "Why Are We Anti-Semites?" Translated from Vierteljahrshefte für Zeitgeschichte, 16. Jahrg., 4. H. (Oct., 1968), pp. 390-420. Edited by Carolyn Yeager. [1]

Since we are socialists, we must necessarily also be antisemites because we want to fight against the very opposite: materialism and mammonism… How can you not be an antisemite, being a socialist!

Because it seems inseparable from the social idea and we do not believe that there could ever exist a state with lasting inner health if it is not built on internal social justice, and so we have joined forces with this knowledge.

Then I wonder that translator did his/her work correctly. National socialism (or "nazi" for short") does have a few concepts that socialism shows as well, but fact remains that Hitler's "national socialism" and actual "socialism" are two different ideologies, as socialism or communism as the two are often put in one, is something Hitler and his entire party strongly condemned.
The most important proof of this lies in the fact that socialism is about all men being equal regardless of status, race, sexuality, etc. Well I do not need to tell you how Hitler thought about equality, do I? If he actually supported socialism the Holocaust would never have taken place, and since it has, it's very clear he refuted the core of which the rest of the socialist teachings are set on. NATIONAL SOCIALISM has the racial issues as the Aryan "supremacy", and the negative view on the Jews as one of its core points, and that's where the two ideologies do not match at all.

Since socialism, which is the most important base of "left politics" is so much about equality, that people who do not object against migration are often (mistakenly) called "leftists", although that part has little to nothing to do with left or right.

The only things that National Socialism and Socialism have in order is providing work for an equal pay, and that's basically where the word "social" comes from. Outside of labor, the two ideologies differ on nearly all points.

I still have to disagree with you on the point that the underlying ideology is still the same. The oxford dictionaries definition of socialism is "socialism is a political and economic theory of social organization which advocates that the means of production, distribution, and exchange should be owned or regulated by the community as a whole."
Now agreed Hitler did not act on those bases at all but he still believed in those values.
He saw big corporations and banks, at that time often fully or partially owned by jewish folk as the enemy. You can find multiple statements from Hitler about the evils of capitalism and he often blamed problems created by capitalism on the jews like the 1929 stock market crash. That is probably the biggest difference between Hitler's interpretation of socialist doctrine and that of today's left.

Today's left still values the group over the individual they may fight for group equality but not individual equality. In other words as long as you believe what we tell you to believe you are alright but if you start thinking differently you will get "thrown out" of society mildly put.

Example: if you are a "black" person the left wants you to think that you are being hold back by society because of your skin colour, but if you are "black" and you dont believe that you often will find that they will ostracize that "black" person. Now i know you are not supposed to say "black person" no more, what i want to point out is if one individual starts to think differently they often get attacked and insulted.

Or if you are a woman who believes in pro life. We saw that at the women's march where women who believed in the pro live narrative were disinvited.

That is the underlying ideology of socialism Group over Individual.

The teachings behind socialism go further than money/economy alone. And the question is if he hated the banks for their capitalistic image or the fact that they were in the hands of the Jews. What we should also note that when Hitler was chosen (we often forget that Hitler was chosen through democracy, since he immediately abolished it after he won the elections) Germany was in the biggest economic crisis known to man. Several things were to blame for this. Losing WWI is just one of them, but also thinking that making extra money would make people richer etc. etc. The Jews have the reputation to be excellent when it comes to storing money and managing that for later, so the Jews could manage during that crisis, although they too had it rough, they could manage. Blaming them was the easy way to go, and coming up with promises that may look pretty socialistic were thus a pretty obvious way to put the Jews in an even worse light. Hitler promised to give all workers a VW.

Now it's also a misconception that Hitler was evil in its purest form, as that is not entirely true. Hitler did many things for Germany and Europe as a whole that we still benefit from today. He was one of the architects of the European motorway network for starters, and under his lead many discoveries were done in medical care (although the ways how became more questionable over time). In lesser important things, but still not bad I can note that Hitler was also a talented artist and some of his paintings are the kinds of paintings I would hang on my wall. However this is all overshadowed by the horrors of WWII and not to mention the Holocaust. The reason I say this, is because the meme makes it sounds like whatever Hitler liked is bad, and even a man like him can like things that are actually good. The person he liked to compare himself with most is none other than Jesus Christ. Now that may tell us more about the madness he suffered from than about Jesus, but still...

When it comes to true socialism in its purest form, where everybody is equal and has the same income and nobody is more important than anybody else and where as thus perfect harmony would be the result... Even Karl Marx knew this was too good to be true, but where it truly went wrong is that when you're trying to create a socialist nation you need to reform a nation that drastically that only a very powerful, yet responsible leader can do it, and power corrupts, no matter what ideology you are trying to uphold.

I would agree with you on those Points, pretty much all of them. Especially on the point that Hitler was not evil in its purest form, he did evil stuff there is no denying but the fact of the matter is that he probably thought he wasn't doing anything evil. My theory on that would be that has something to do with what i call "the perceived morality" of his surroundings and fellow people. What i mean by that is that different cultures and or communities have different views on morality, for example there are diaries of first "normal" citizens of Nazi germany who got forced to work in KZ's at first they wrote about how horrible and immoral some other workers there are. The more time they used to work there, mainly they stayed because they had no other choice, the more they started to become the ones they called immoral before. Also there are some scientific experiments proving if you give people the power to "play god" they sooner or later will become more and more abusive of said power, sadly i can't seem to remember how that experiments was called.

My main intention behind the meme was to use the same tactics today's leftist's use comparing their "enemies" as Nazis as MyrianWaffleEV pointed out. Not to shame them but one to point out their intellectual laziness and second to show them how hypocritical they actually are, especially so called "antifa" who acts in a lot of ways how the "SS" did, burning books etc. Some would call me far right or right wing for that, in reality i don't really know. I believe in many classic "liberal" believes like everybody is created equal and should have equal opportunities but i also believe in limited government and low taxes.

The main reason that i believe socialism never will work is because it calls for big government. I believe wholeheartedly that government always sucks and will suck based on the lack of "forced competition", government usually always gets paid no matter how bad they do, look at venezuela currently look at the soviet union or east germany especially. The people employed by the government like their politicians usually did not do as bad as the rest of the working class people. Government breads corruption the bigger it gets the worse it becomes. People just don't know about having power but not to use it, myself included.

Well the so-called "leftists" (some people who blame them for everything never realized they are pretty left themselves), have made some comparations with Trump and the NSDAP not in ideology, but rather in electoral tactics. Many people in the U.S. are angry about many things. In some points they are actually right, and in other points they must be able to reflect on themselves. The same was the case in Germany between the two wars. The Germans were angry about the crisis. Both Hitler and Trump came as the kind of "savior" who would set right again. And Trump blamed it all on the Mexicans, just as Hitler did on the Jews. These are the parallels analysts often see between the election tactics of both gentlemen.

Now I won't say Trump is a saint, but I have no reason to think he'd go as far as Hitler in his actions against Mexicans as Hitler did to the Jews, and I think if it ever gets that far Trump would be facing an impeachment immediately, if not a total coup. The Holocaust did wake people up.

Now "left" in politics means "socialist" and "right" means "capitalist". Well that's not 100% true, but in simplified English, yes. Hitler's propaganda was indeed pretty left when it comes to economy while Trump's ideals in this department are pretty much right oriented. However stuff like migration issues or discrimination are neither left nor right topics. There's also the progressive and conservative line, in which progressive means renew and improve things, and conservative means keeping things the way they were. Migrants, or people hated based on race or religion always bring some change with them, that's inevitable, and then people want to reject that, and that's why we deem that conservative. As progressive people always seek improvement (sometimes to the level that we improve just for the sake of improvement) they welcome the change.

Hitler *tried* to be left-conservative, where Trump is clearly right-conservative. I can deem the Democrats neither left nor right, but they do have a rather progressive nature where the Republicans are more right-conservative.

Now left is nearly all kinds of socialistic ideals, and a lot do not fall under socialism but under other ideologies. National socialist, the first word is more important in that name is the second, as it does refer to "nationalist". Hitler did have a kind of "Germany first" attitude... Hmm... sounds familiar, eh?

This is why people make the parallels between Trump and Hitler.
