Perhaps, but since Islamic grooming gangs involves sex with underaged girls that should be addressed since the news usually reports on sexual predators (they don't skimp on reporting it when it happens in schools or the Scouts).

There is a security group in New York City who call themselves "Muslim Community Patrol". Their cars (pictured above) look like New York City police cars. There are concerns that they could at best be implementing Sharia Law in these areas (though Sharia Law clashes with US law at some points(, at worst they're vigilante mobs who would enforce Sharia Law on non-Muslims as well despite the US' freedom of religion laws.

UPDATE: They claim to be like a neighborhood watch, and that they call the police if there's crimes. Yet there are conflicting reports, so I'd be willing to give them the benefit of the doubt but keep a wary eye on the situation (trust must be earned).

Sadly it is. That car, with MCP standing for Muslim Community Patrol, is in New York City and looks very similar to the NYPD police cars (minus the siren).

While I agree with your disapproval, I think that instead they should just be arrested by the police (and that MCP car should either be crushed or turned into a car for the NYPD).
