Money rarely fixes underlying issues that makes winning the lottery important.
I don't bother with it personally because I cant really think of anything I could use it for. Trying to make a list in my head of what I'd buy and i'm stuck at number 5, and 3 of them I could buy right now, haha
Like you said, there are a lit of underlying issues that money can't fix, and this guy seems to have had his share. I don't think too much money was the problem, but rather the realization that it wasn't the benefit he imagined it would be.
