I was just trying to point out that it's a slippery slope to allege intent over 'coded words' when it's just an assumption and can easily be weaponized. But, yeah, I probably could have worded it better or more clearly.

But if these things conservatives say are "dog whistles", that specifically means they're being deliberately said in such a way that left wingers shouldn't notice.

The fact is, the left wingers are the ONLY ones hearing dog whistles, because those people who are /actually/ alt-right (ie the staggering minority of right-wingers) don't even bother to hide their bigotry. In fact they're better than the regressive left in that way, who don't even /recognize/ their own bigotry.

And "social justice" and "diversity"

And let's not forget, "diversity" apparently doesn't apply to Asians, who have to achieve a higher SAT score than anyone else, including white people, to get into university, while POCs don't have to score AS high as white people.
