Consider that this is a matter of MODESTY of for a Muslim woman. She would feel the same way about walking around in public without her hijab in the same way that most Americans would feel about a woman walking around topless in public. I'm surprised that the Conservatives aren't more supportive of feminine modesty.

I believe that the Jewish men should have been allowed to wear yarmulkes...but I'm not sure that Jewish-American men feel NAKED without them.
