Of course, I'd rather derisively throw popcorn at the screen than weep over the smoking, mangled ruins of what was left of my broken-clean-in-two heart, but whatever.
I hated Up. It may have been a good movie, but the intro was the saddest, most depressing bit of Cinema ever, and set the tone for the rest of the movie, ruining the entire film.

i thought it was a really good story all round...but that opening scene with empty chair! go***mn!!!!!!!
My mom *likes* movies that make her cry. 'Up' made her cry in the worst way possible, and she went on record to say that she doesn't *ever* want to see that movie again.
