Wonder how many of them remember the fact that Hillary Clinton supported the 2009 coup in Honduras that thrusted there country into chaos.

No, those are asylum seekers. The vast majority of them will be denied at the border. The ones who are accepted cannot vote in federal elections until they gain citizenship, which is a lengthy process.

And yes, Democrats plan to outvote Republicans. That's generally the goal in an election. Then again, we DID outvote Republicans in 2016, so maybe we need a new strategy.

Trump got as many votes as Romney did in 2012.
So it was lower turnout for Hillary that did it.

Good points you made, especially how so many of the living didn't vote, so 'dead' ones (of which Trump's own short lived Commission on Voter Fraud found no proof of) are not needed.

Further, on a more local scale, Gerrymandering has assured Republican wins where they wouldn't be any. There's a reason there has been only one Republican win for the Presidency by popular vote in tha last 3 decades, 2004. The GOP is fading away.

Nice try, though.

Saying “nice try” implies that I had a specific goal in mind when I wrote my comment. My only goal was to spread awareness of a news story.

The SF school board election is a separate issue. The story I posted has to do with the law that allows undocumented immigrants the right to apply for a drivers license. In a few cases the DMV messed up and registered the person to vote without checking their immigration status. The number is admittedly small when compared to the total number of CA voters.

"Nice try" was sarcasm. That didn't qualify as anything more than a smudge of spittle.

A clerical error that was recognized and corrected?
Yeah, not a nice try at all on your part, more an epic fail.

All this over, "Nice try"?
Hope you got chamomile and not coffee in that cup.

Are you suggesting that these clerical mistakes made by an overloaded system are part of a conspiracy to flip California blue? Because that's the stupidest thing I've ever heard. Are Dems also trying to flip Connecticut and Massachusetts? Look out, midterms, we're coming for you!

No, not suggesting that. Just says that, in some situations, non American citizens can vote.

And in some situations, applicants get acceptance letters to Texas A&M's nursing school when they actually weren't admitted. Does that mean those applicants are allowed to attend classes? No.

You're talking about an isolated incident (that was caught and rectified before voting started). At best, you're splitting hairs about word choice, which is not at all helpful in this discussion. Non-citizens are not legally allowed to vote, and no one is interested in breaking the law to get them to. 45% of the people of voting age didn't vote in 2016, and the majority of them are in demographics that generally vote blue.

We don't want illegal votes. We don't need them. All we need is mediocre turnout of legal voters.

not legally, they also technically shouldn't be here either

They are legally granted the right to apply for asylum. Literally everyone in the world is. Do you review asylum applications? If not, exactly what criteria lead you to believe they shouldn't be here?

Before you answer that question, it's fair to point out that your ideas on this subject hold no value whatsoever. Literally the only thing you can do or say that matters here is vote for representatives who you think will set policies you believe in. See you at the polls.
