I heard Trump is funding this to scare up his half whitted base.

Exactly the feeling I had,,,

As if they aren't aware what happened the last time,
The timing in terms of triggering the base for November,
The lack of any other glaring issues of the moment to stir up the minions (Congress is on vacation till after the election, no guarantee of anything else to stoke fervor),
The fact that this would stir up resentment here against those who might help them (perceived as just the Demz),
And again, the timing in regards to that, since they won't get here for a month, so too late for any sympathy that might reflect at the polls.

So much fear and hate. Humanity is gone out the window down there. Our PM is an idiot, but atleast he's not a lyin pos asshole. I wish yiu well come november
