No, it has been declining. And there are many, many reasons why people would want to abort a pregnancy. Person is too young, too old, not ready, not out of school, etc. If people really want to reduce abortion, we should probably have a national campaign teaching teens how to "plan to stay un-pregnant" until they are ready to get pregnant. Clearly, teaching abstinence is demonstrated to fail miserably. How many pro-life programs have focused on non-legislative methods to reduce abortions and un-wanted pregnancy. I haven't found any such programs. By the way, the number one indicator of living in poverty, is poverty. i.e. the more births into poverty, the more people on "welfare" and "public assistance." Pro-life is pro-opportunity, pro-school, pro-healthcare, pro-contraceptives, pro-family planning, pro-women's health. You have values, know what they mean and what policies would support them. Just trying to control OTHER people's lives through legislation is the opposite of freedom.
