BBC news says a lot of things. You remember 2016?

On the milk subject, yup. Some stories say that at least New York dairy could sell more milk to Canada. That trade deal is scheduled to start in 2020.

governing.com has comments on some of the differences, mostly affecting auto industry.
industry.com has a similar look talking about how the auto industry is affected.
krwg.org has titled a commentary "minor changes expected from NAFTA replacement"
democratandchronicle.com does say that Canada has gotten rid of Class 7 supply management, I don't know what that means, and opened up dairy trade that could be really good for dairy in New York.

I guess more open dairy trade is positive.
I see requirements for higher wages in the auto industry as positive.

Couldn't find the article in democratandchronicle but the others seemed to view the deal positively.. or at least not negatively. The actual effects seem to be positive across the board from a US perspective. What is not to like?

It isn't a big change. trump repeatedly claimed that it was the worst deal. He found basically the same deal. It is a market upset and vehicle part supply lines may have to be renegotiated and changed. Was it worth the disruption and uncertainty?

If the new deal benefits us more than the old one, I'd say so. The disruption and uncertainly lasted a few months, the new deal will last years or decades

Lets see how the businesses feel about and how much it forces prices up.

That's reasonable
