I don't trust a country with my safety if it trusts maniacs with guns.

That might be your personal experience, don't pretend like it's mine or anyone else's just because you prejudge people and have been indoctrinated to believe that everyone is born that way. Regardless, you brought it into a legal conversation. No matter how someone looks, if they don't have a felonious criminal history, a restraining order against them, a history of violence or mental illness, they LEGALLY have a right to keep and bear arms.

What's your suggestion? Force people to go through an interview before buying a gun? Who's giving the interview? Background checks are already in place, maybe instead of blindly complaining, make a reasonable suggestion.
