When individuals start taking responsibility for their own actions and start building rather than dividing and destroying, ill entertain the idea that racism is the problem. Racism is real in all cultures. Its not an excuse for failing to solve problems. Protesting and division do not equal a solution.

Trump is the main reason for the division, and protesting is a right guaranteed in the Constitution of the United States.

Differences aside, Im not lying to you. My mother was a black woman. My father is white and apache. I identify as white because the poor black neighborhood we lived in insisted on it. The racism didnt stop there. That was in the mid sixties. My father left in my first year and I grew up a poor black child who wasnt allowed to be black and my mom was poor, black, divorced and had a "white"child.
I will restate that racism if any kind is mental illness
As to Trump, he is divisive buffoon that won because Hillary is horrible. You dont have to be a Trumper to believe that you dont have to be white to be a racist. You can decide for yourself if im black enough.

You're right, racism is a mental illness. Trump is a sick man. When you need to use terms like "my black friend, my asian friend, my mexican friend",.... there is a hint of racism in the statement. I prefer to just say "my friend". Color and culture aren't important to me. YOU identify as white. Is that for your benefit or is that what's on your birth certificate?

Because "Hillary is horrible"?? Amazing that in over 30 years, not one thing she's ever been accused of, by the right wingnuts, has ever been found to be true or even enough evidence to bring her to trial. You'll fall for conspiracy theories, and outright lies, and you'll deny fact and evidence. Funny how our judicial system works.... on facts and evidence.

Protesting is one of our rights, yes. Its also a placebo that replaces responsibility for action. Chicago is a killing field? Lets wait for the govt to do something. Young black men dropping like flies? Lets blame poverty, not immorality.
You cant change your community unless you change the idea that poverty and racism cause child abuse and neglect. Eating your own is not about poverty and accountability isnt just for politicians and rich folk. Want to change the world, start by admitting that it isn't our circumstance that creates selfish individualism. Our selfishness creates the circumstance.

Racism thrives because its easier to blame than to work for real change. Protesting has turned into grade school name calling and has become a distraction from the real issue,
A complete mutual disregard for common sense solutions. Keep waiting on the government and blaming everyone but the individuals accountable. Free food, clothing, shelter and school but its racism that makes for failure? Dr. King didnt think so. He'd be ashamed of protestors today and shocked by the view that racism supposedly turns folks into abusive parents, rude bullies, and hatefilled murderers.
When the signs say PERSONAL ACCOUNTABILITY NOW, ill start taking protestors seriously. I grew up in absolute poverty and with racism. We knew the answer: work together for a better life and then they cant ignore you. Sit on your ass, neglect your community and display ignorance at every turn and you get Trump as President and killing fields for neighborhoods. Keep thinking they care what you think! They care what you do and protesting this way does nothing.

I don't pay attention to conspiracy theories. I don't pay attention to the media or even to politics. I have learned that in order to be in the financial situation that most politicians are privileged with, you have to hurt a lot of people. They are all involved in huge financial transactions and multibillion-dollar corporations. That is the source of true evil. Hillary and Donald are from the same pack. That's not conspiracy. That's just a look at what someone has to do, how many people they have to exploit, how much they have to ruin the environment, to see that they all have their hands in the very things that most people object to in the world today.

The true test of character is what one is willing to invest in to further one's pocket. Very few at the top can pass the test. They deal away our jobs, lower our wages while increasing their own profit, pollute the environment, strategically block what is good for the world so that the company will make more money and then tuck that money away instead of investing it in the people who actually earned it for them.

Just look at the financial situation of any politician that you believe has your best interest at heart and you will see whether or not it is true. Where did they get their money? Who did they hurt in order to get it? How many people have they underpaid? How many of their Investments do damage to the environment? How many times have they look the other way while their employees suffered? They may not do this directly. But if their money is involved with a company that is not ethical, don't believe a word they say to you. I don't care how much they give to charity. Charity is only necessary because those who have the abilty to make tangible changes run for office instead.

You must be in great shape jumping to so many conclusions. ????

I identify as white because on the rare occasions its asked, people directly or indirectly call me a liar if I say otherwise. If I say Im black or even mult racial, black folks get really pissed.
My white privilege was rarely exercised as I grew up in a black racist neighborhood and bullies loved me. I now live in a diverse area so the question rarely comes up.
My white privilege has me working nyself to death while being told how lucky I am. Im beginning to think youre the racist.

What kind of situation would you be in, that someone would ask you about your race?
And you do admit that "White privilege" has put you over others.... interesting.....

They asked at schools inc college. They asked when I applied for food stamps during a rough spell. They ask out of curiosity. They ask, LIKE YOU DID, when I share my ideas. Or they simply assume, LIKE YOU DID, and then call me a liar, LIKE YOU DID.
I said thst I didnt get muchvfrom white privilege other than running from racist bullies who thought that I wasnt black enough for our racist black neighborhood. I was berated, besten up and harrassed until I moved for college. It was my privilege to be their whipping girl because of my color. I grew up in the 70s but it would be the same today

I haven't assumed anything. I've repeated your words mostly. You've admitted to the use of white privilege. You say "It was my privilege to be their whipping girl because of my color." But you also say that blacks wouldn't believe you are black. So, are you relying on white privilege to get by, or just denying your black heritage? Do you take pity on yourself depending on the situation you are in at any given moment? What happened to your "PERSONAL ACCOUNTABILITY " ??

It was sarcasm. please read slower and more than once. Its all there. I never denied my heritage. I married a black man and had beautiful black sons. Ive worked hard and Im still poor. My community labeled me white, not me. Black racists called me white. AND YOU ASKED ME WHEN I WAS A POOR BLACK CHILD. Thats how we got here.
.
Before you reply, please read all of what I send. Its never a privilege to be the whipping girl. Think! It s SARCASM. If you keep forcing me to say the same thing over and over, vits boring. It would be nice too, if you would address the politics and the black racism points. Please take your time though.

You forgot to address horrible Hillary and her donors and investments. I think we both accept Donalds corporate evil. So, you can stick to defending Hillary and telling me how her money is clean.
