Unless it Features all the Features of a Flag, It is NOT a flag, and not subject to the protocols of Respecting the Flag.

since you specifically cite the US Flag That means
- 13 stripes (7 Red 6 White)
- a Blue 'standard' in the Upper corner (on the edge attached to the Flag Pole, or Upper left if hanging like a banner)
- 50 'Pentacle' Stars arranged Just so.

if the image is not so, nor can it be 'reassembled' to Fit those requirements (or in such a manner that can realistically be shown to have come from such a Flag... then
