I'm a life member, and still contribute regularly. Just think about the 2nd amendment and compare it to the 1st. Let's take all of the nonsense on the 2nd amendment and put it on the 1st amendment. Things like restrictions from not only state to state on how speech can be used, but in some cases variations for certain cities. Let's make the rules on the 2nd amendment a patchwork of rules and regulations that would get you in jail for violations. Let's make sure that the rules and regulations for each locality change regularly, so that you never know if you are completely legal depending on where you happen to be at any given time. Let's make it so that the press has to get a permit in order to exercise their 1st amendment right. And I could go on and on at the double standards of the 2nd amendment compared to the 1st.
