In summary, most of what you said wasn't even his fault. The economy was suffering under him, not BECAUSE of him. There's an important distinction to make. Look at national debt charts, poverty rate charts, etc. You'll see that many of these problems came directly after the recession, and slowly began to diminish during the Obama years.

Maybe you don't understand. These confederate statues represent traitors who killed AMERICAN soldiers. They rebelled against the US government because they wanted to own people. I don't think that these statues should be destroyed, but rather put into museums where they can be studied and surrounded by context about what they did wrong. Robert E. Lee himself said, "I think it wiser…not to keep open the sores of war but to follow the examples of those nations who endeavored to obliterate the marks of civil strife, to commit to oblivion the feelings engendered." Even he didn't want confederate statues. So why do we keep them up?
